If you don’t have a heating system, or if there are no radiators or boilers present in your home, you may be eligible for a First Time Central Heating (FTCH) grant. We strive to make the process of applying for the grants as easy as possible. We offer a free, no-obligation survey, and gas-safe approved engineers will install the measures.
The government’s Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme provides the grants, requiring larger energy companies to fund them to help reduce emissions and increase energy efficiency in homes. Applying for an FTCH grant has many benefits, such as reduced health risks associated with living in a poorly heated home. Often, the occupier pays nothing for the heating systems, as we will install the radiators, boiler, and necessary pipework for the systems.
By installing the measures, your carbon footprint will decrease, which means lower energy bills. To qualify for the FTCH system, you must not have a heating system, or no radiators or boilers present in your home. Additionally, someone living at the property must be receiving one of the qualifying benefits listed. Alternatively, the property may qualify through your local council’s LA Flex scheme (local authority flexible eligibility).
Whether you’re a homeowner or a private renter, you may be eligible for the FTCH measures if you meet the criteria. If you’re unsure, give us a call today, and we’ll help you determine whether you qualify for the measures.
